Grounded in Gratitude: Leading with Heart This November

As the year begins its gentle close, we find ourselves reflecting on what it means to lead with gratitude. In the swirl of deadlines, missions, and milestones, this season invites us to pause—to breathe—and to remember the heart behind the work we do.
This November, we honor and acknowledge those whose stories and struggles shape the communities we serve:
- National Native American Heritage Month — recognizing the rich history, culture, and contributions of Native and Indigenous peoples.
- Transgender Awareness Week (mid-November) — standing in solidarity with our transgender community and promoting inclusive leadership.
- Veterans Day (November 11) — honoring those who have served with courage and sacrifice.
- World Kindness Day (November 13) — reminding us that even small acts of kindness ripple into big change.
And across the month, we uplift awareness for health and healing — from Movember’s focus on men’s mental and physical health to National Diabetes Month, COPD Awareness, and Pancreatic and Lung Cancer Awareness, to our ongoing support of National Family Caregivers and Homeless Youth Awareness Month.
To all of our nonprofit and higher ed partners supporting individuals navigating these experiences—thank you. Your work matters. You are the heartbeat of progress.
