Consultant Collective
The Consultant Collective is limited to twenty (20) curated consultants who create content for The Wishful Doing Hub. The application process is thorough by design — it ensures that every person who enters this space is ready to build something meaningful alongside others who take their craft, their community, and their impact seriously. Use this checklist to confirm your application packet is complete before submission.
Section 1 — Professional Identity & Credentials
☐ Current professional resume or curriculum vitae (CV) — PDF format preferred
☐ Professional biography (200–300 words, written in third person)
☐ Short bio (50–75 words for community and marketing use)
☐ High-resolution professional headshot (minimum 300 DPI, JPG or PNG)
☐ LinkedIn profile URL
☐ Personal or professional website URL (if applicable)
☐ Social media handles (platforms where you maintain an active professional presence)
Section 2 — Academic & Professional Verification
☐ Official transcripts from all relevant degree-granting institutions (undergraduate and/or graduate)
☐ Copies of relevant professional certifications and licenses
☐ Proof of any specialized training, coaching certifications, or credentialing body memberships
☐ List of publications, presentations, or speaking engagements (past 5 years)
Section 3 — References
☐ Three (3) professional references — minimum one from a supervisory or client relationship
– For each reference: Full name, title, organization, email, phone number, nature of relationship
– References must be available to respond within 10 business days of submission
☐ One (1) optional peer or community reference who can speak to your collaborative nature and professional character
Section 4 — Content Expertise & Proposed Contributions
☐ Expertise overview: A 1–2 page written narrative describing your area(s) of specialization, the population you serve, and the transformation your work creates
☐ Proposed content plan for the Hub — briefly describe at least 2 content offerings you intend to create (format, target tier, general topic)
☐ Sample work: Up to 3 examples of existing content, courses, tools, or resources you have created (links, files, or descriptions acceptable)
☐ Evidence of audience engagement or community leadership (testimonials, community metrics, event attendance records, etc.)
Section 5 — Legal & Compliance Documents
☐ Completed IRS Form W-9 (required prior to receiving any compensation)
☐ Copy of business registration or DBA documentation (if operating under a business name)
☐ Proof of professional liability / errors & omissions insurance (encouraged but not required — see contract Section 23)
☐ Signed acknowledgment of having read and understood the Wishful Doing Brand Standards document
☐ Signed Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), if applicable prior to full application review
Section 6 — Alignment & Culture Fit
☐ Written response (250–500 words) to the following prompt:
"Describe a time you led through complexity or supported someone else in doing so. What did you learn about yourself as a leader, collaborator, or creator?"
☐ Statement of alignment: In 150–250 words, explain why the Wishful Doing mission and Hub ecosystem are the right home for your work right now.
☐ Acknowledgment that the Collective is limited to 20 consultants and that acceptance is selective and values-based
Section 7 — Agreement & Submission
☐ Review and electronic signature on the Wishful Doing Consultant Collective Agreement (delivered via DocuSign upon offer acceptance)
☐ Payment of $300 annual membership fee (upon offer acceptance — not required at application stage)
☐ Submission of complete application packet via email to Dr. Jamie Williams, VP of Strategy & Operations, at jamie@wishfuldoings.com
Incomplete applications will not be advanced. Wishful Doing reserves the right to request additional documentation during the review process. All submitted materials are held in strict confidence.
